Turbosteppa is a Frankenstein of funk from UK's Kry Wolf and label-boss Claude VonStroke. Kry Wolf is an exciting duo from the south coast of the UK and well known for their massive Sumo parties. Claude VonStroke decided to team up and work with them upon hearing the original version as a demo. Later on he found out the guys were already good mates with another great dirtybird player, Shadow Child. Turbosteppa is one of those house tracks that could quite easily cross over into the bass community. The solid house groove locks you in, leading to spooky chords and voices that throw down into a wicked ass-moving bassline. Kry Wolf and VonStroke have been dropping different versions of this track (more than six!) since May. It's not often that a track can get tested on the road for that long but it's been a big crowd favorite all summer and this is the best version by far.
